Nash Metropolitan returns to Goodwood #73MM
Our very own Nash Metropolitan has been invited to compete at the Goodwood Road Racing Clubs 73rd Members Meeting. After a challenging debut at Goodwood Revival in 2012 the little Metropolitan will be returning to the circuit with an all new, all steel 1860cc race engine. We’ve made further developments with suspension setup and will be out testing shortly. Shaun Rainford will be piloting the car and we are all looking forward to seeing what this car can do.
A couple of jobs on an Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint
A couple jobs on a beautifully presented Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint. A new starter motor fitted and some vents in the polycarbonate rear windows. We were also asked to make a list of all that would be needed in order to go circuit racing. Currently the car is a track day regular but the owner is considering going racing.
“Lumbertubs” makes Goodwood debut in 73rd Members Meeting
Ian Burford’s Austin-Healey Sprite “Lumbertubs” has at last received an invite to race at Goodwood. Originally built in the early 1960’s the car has been campaigned for many years in many different specifications. Ian Burford has owned the car now for the last 3 years and campaigned it extensively. He will now be looking forward to driving the car in the Les Leston Trophy race at Goodwood’s 73rd Members Meeting.
Dave Griffith’s Triumph TR4 winter refresh
Dave’s Triumph TR4 FIA race car has been moved into the prep shop. There are a couple of body issues to sort before the car receives it’s new livery. Once in paint there will be a lot of new parts to go on followed by the renewal of the FIA HTP papers. Dave wants this to be the smartest TR4 on the grid.
