1956 MGA restoration underway

Last week we began to strip down a customers 1956 MGA. The car is originally a left hand drive US export spending most of its life in dry states has meant that much of the chassis and bodywork is in very good condition and relatively rust free. Once the car is stripped we will send the chassis to be media blasted.

Mk1 Ford Escort RS2000

This very trick Mk1 Ford Escort RS2000 was dropped off for a number of small jobs and an MOT. The 6-speed sequential Quaife gearbox was leaking badly and the idler spindle was completely knackered. Once the gear box was back in place we took the car for an MOT, sorted some other leaks and will be giving it a power run on the rolling road.

Jim Lee Racing Mantis Formula Ford chassis repairs

We’ve been given the task of repairing the back end of a rare 1980’s Formula Ford chassis. Very little information seems to be available but we know it to be a Mantis FF1600 chassis built by Jim Lee Racing. We are currently reconstructing the back of the chassis and, fingers crossed, everything thing will line up once complete.
