Just one week until the racing season kicks off with Goodwood’s 73rd Members Meeting, and if last years event is anything to go by I expect it will be superb. The group 1 cars really stole the show last year but there is a lot more to look forward to. This year we will be running four cars. Dave Griffiths in the Triumph TR4 and Ian Burford in the Sebring Sprite will be running in the Les Leston Cup for pre-66 production sports cars. Mike Haigh with the Ford Falcon and our very own Shaun Rainford in the Nash Metropolitan will be running in the Sopwith Cup for 1950’s saloon cars. So come down and cheer us on and if you spot us in the paddock feel free to come and say hello. #73MM
Griffith’s Triumph TR4 ready for action
Over the winter we have been giving the FIA Triumph TR4 of Dave Griffith’s a thorough refresh. The car has been painted in it’s original black with a new livery. New brightwork and interior trim has been fitted along with a new steering wheel. The engine has been out and has been refreshed ready for the season with a new camshaft from Piper Cams that should see a few extra ponies. We will be testing with Dave and Goodwood Motor Circuit on Tuesday 24th of February. Dave will be competing at the GRRC 73rd Members Meeting on the 21st and 22nd of March. #73MM

Nash Metropolitan at Goodwood
Last weekend we took the Metropolitan down to Goodwood to stretch it’s legs before the 73rd Members Meeting and for a small feature on the GRRC website. You can read the feature here.
Mike Haigh Ford Falcon in at Goodwood’s 73rd Members Meeting
Mike Haigh and his fabulous Ford Falcon will be returning to Goodwood this spring at the GRRC 73rd Members Meeting. They will be taking part in the Sopwith Cup for pre-1960 saloon cars along side our Nash Metropolitan. We’ve got a bit of development work to do this winter and hope to be out testing early in the new year.
