Seeing as we are all missing out on Goodwood Members Meeting right now, I thought I would post a gallery of photos from previous years. We are fortunate to have prepared and supported customers race cars and taken part at every meeting since its reintroduction. Looking forward to when we can all get back to racing. Stay Safe.
Defying gravity – Metropolitan in Motorsport Magazine
GRRC 73rd Members’ Meeting
Once again Lord March has hosted one spectacular event. Quickly becoming our favourite of the Goodwood events due to smaller crowds and a stronger emphasis on the racing. All of our drivers and our cars performed admirably. Dave Griffiths charged forward in the TR4 to make up 6 places in the Les Leston Cup. Ian Burford and Mike Haigh both drove with gusto and Shaun Rainford amazed everyone by hanging on to the leading pack in our Nash Metropolitan. Well done Goodwood, we cannot wait till next year.
One week to go until the 73rd Members Meeting
Just one week until the racing season kicks off with Goodwood’s 73rd Members Meeting, and if last years event is anything to go by I expect it will be superb. The group 1 cars really stole the show last year but there is a lot more to look forward to. This year we will be running four cars. Dave Griffiths in the Triumph TR4 and Ian Burford in the Sebring Sprite will be running in the Les Leston Cup for pre-66 production sports cars. Mike Haigh with the Ford Falcon and our very own Shaun Rainford in the Nash Metropolitan will be running in the Sopwith Cup for 1950’s saloon cars. So come down and cheer us on and if you spot us in the paddock feel free to come and say hello. #73MM
Porsche 911 tuned for GRRC 73rd Members Meeting
Mark Sumpter’s Porsche 911 was on the rollers today getting tuned for Goodwood’s 73rd Members Meeting. We’ve tuned it to run with silencers and without as Goodwood allows (encourages) un-silenced racing cars. Yes, it is very loud. #73MM
