Bodywork repairs on one of the last ever classic Minis

In the bodyshop this week is one of the very last classic Mini Coopers ever made. This car was one of the last 500 made before production of the classic Mini came to an end. This example is in for a small repair to the front right corner. It will need a new Sports Pack arch, dent removal and a localised respray on the damaged corner.

Jaguar E-type painted

All done. The E-type has been finished and looks stunning. We’ve gone the extra mile with this one with two coats of primer wet flatted before the base coat and clear. The restoration of the shell was so good we had to have a paint job to match the quality. Can’t wait to see this car once assembled.

Jaguar E-type in primer

The Jaguar E-type has received a coat of primer. Painter Ian Goodwright is taking every measure to ensure this paint job is a beautiful as the restoration. The final colour will be a dark metallic blue so the prep work has to be 110%. Still to come are the doors, boot lid and the enormous bonnet.
