Mike Haigh’s Ford Falcon has been invited to race for the St. Mary’s Trophy at this years Goodwood Revival. This year’s race is for 1950’s saloon cars. We are excited to see this car perform following our recent developments and improvements in power. We have a little setup work to do before testing begins next month.
Despite the torrential down pour that lasted most of Saturday Goodwood Revival once again proved itself to be the premier historic motorsport event. This year we were invited to bring John Rhodes Mini Cooper S for the ‘Life at Goodwood’ track moment and parade laps. Over the course of the weekend we managed to catch a lot of the races, drink lots of tea and meet up with some old friends.
We’ve had two Academy A35’s on the rolling road this week running in and fine tuning new engines prior to Goodwood Revival. Looking forward to this race.
Another couple of Academy A35’s in for rolling road tuning ahead of Goodwood Revival’s St Mary’s trophy.
Today we’ve had four Academy A35’s on our rolling road trying to find that last bit of power. We’ve managed to squeeze the most out of these with minute variations in timing, plug gaps and fueling. We’ve got two more booked in for next week.
