ABOUT CCK HISTORIC

Classic Cars of Kent started in 1983 by Shaun Rainford. In the beginning we offered parts, service and restoration for MG’s and Triumphs. Shaun’s success as a racing driver lead him to championship wins in his MG Midgets and Austin-Healey Sprites. Over the years, motorsport became a larger part of the business. With a huge rise in the popularity of historic motorsport, the company grew to be a fully comprehensive one-stop historic racing and classic car specialist. And hence, we now support a number of clients and attend the full season of historic racing events with most major clubs. In 2004 we moved to East Sussex and adopted the trading name CCK Historic. We have been attending the Goodwood Revival as competitors since 2005 both in our own right and with many of our clients race cars.

However, fellow classic vehicle enthusiasts be assured that we have not forgotten our roots and the team will be more than happy to service your road classic or performance car or carry out mechanical & body repairs. Working on competition cars has honed our expertise and we still have access to a vast range of spare parts all marques.

We can offer you a complete restoration or historic racing package tailored to your needs. We can carry out a ground up restoration, panel fabrication, body repairs and painting. Additionally, we have a full engine machine shop and build road and race engines. We specialise in rolling road tuning of carburettors and also offer corner weight and suspension setup. We build bespoke roll cages and we are an official fitment centre for Custom Cages. As well as classic car maintenance and restoration, a large part of our business is in race preparation and support. Furthermore, all of this can be found under one roof.
