The 289ci engine, clutch and gearbox have arrived for the Shelby Mustang GT350R. The engine is going in the hole now and after that there is not a lot more to do to get it ready. As soon as the car is done we will be applying for HTP papers and getting out for some winter testing. Can’t wait to see this out in 2017.
The Mustang is finally in one piece. It’s been a lot of work in a short amount of time but it is just about finished. It has an MOT now, has been registered with the DVLA and has been inspected for its FIA HTP papers. It will be going on the rolling road today. It has been a challenging build but I think the results are fantastic. Less than 6 weeks to turn this one around.
We’ve been working super hard to get this car turned around. It has emerged from the paint shop this afternoon in a fresh coat of Wimbledon White with Satin Black bonnet and front wing tops. It looks cracking, now time to put it together.
