SOLD Ex-Ian Walker/Pat Moss Works Austin-Healey Sebring Sprite

We are very fortunate to be able to offer for sale the original Sebring Sprite WJB 707. The car started life as a BMC Works rally car in Frogeye form with Pat Moss in the drivers seat for 1960 Tour de Corse. The car was purchased and campaigned successfully by Ian Walker for the 1961 season with Sebring aluminium body work by Williams & Pritchard. In 1966 WJB 707 was sold to Stephen Bowen who still owns the car to this day. The car is presented in restored condition with a 1 litre engine. With little effort this very original sports car could be prepared for today’s historic racing grids. The addition of a roll cage and other current safety equipment would be needed. FIA HTP papers can be applied for and given the cars history their is no shortage of prestigious events for which it would be eligible. For UK club racing a hot 1380cc engine would make this car very competitive. Please get in touch if you have any questions or you wish to view the car. £SOLD.
