A stunning and rare Aston Martin DB4 GT with triple Weber carburettors and Vantage camshafts was dropped into us while the owner popped over to Italy for a little road race called the Mille Miglia. A change of jets and a balancing of the carbs had it running sweetly.
This morning saw the rolling road tuning of another Aston Martin V8. First of all we replaced the spark plugs. One carburettor was running fast so all four were balanced. We setup up the idle mixture and idle speed. We then disconnected the kick down cable and gave it a power run to check the fueling across the rev range.
James Bond brought it in for tune up. The least we could do was stick it on the rolling road. A British icon with twin cam straight six power and triple Weber carburetors.
