With the same under pining as the legendary 427 Cobra and with Italian GT coachwork from Pininfarina the AC 428 is a truly stunning car. Only 80 were ever made making them very rare and increasingly desirable. This one came in for tuning but we found the vacuum secondary on the Holley carb to be seizing. The best remedy is a replacement carburettor.
You might recognize this race winning Chevrolet Camaro from the Gerry Marshall Trophy race at Goodwood’s 74th Members Meeting. The car came in today for some dyno time prior to its trip to Belgium next month for one of the Spa 6 hour support races. We tried a few things and found a few brake horsepower but of course this is all classified information. Needless to say the Peter Knight 350ci V8 has plenty of beans!
Tim Finch brought his recently purchased 1969 Ford Mustang 390 in for a health check and rolling road tuning. The car has not been on the road long since it’s restoration. It has a brand new Holley carburetor and Tim wanted to make sure everything was running as it should.
This 1956 Chevrolet has a rare and unusual Offenhauser cross-ram manifold with twin Holley 4 barrel carburetors. We spent a couple of hours with it on the rolling road to optimize the setup.
