Legend of British saloon car racing Alan Mann has passed away. Mann was responsible for one of the most recognisable liveries in motorsport and for some of the most successful touring cars in history. Most notable were the red and gold Lotus Cortinas and Mk1 Escorts of the late 60’s. Alan’s contribution to motorsport is significant and will never be forgotten. He is succeeded by his son Henry, who his quite the driver himself, often seen in Historics racing red and gold classic Fords.
