Engineered for extreme competition, these billet steel H-beam rods are the backbone of our own Volvo B18 race engines. Designed for maximum strength and reduced reciprocating mass, these longer rods are built exclusively for use with our short-crown forged pistons.

Critical Technical Requirements

• Crankshaft Modification: These rods will not fit a standard journal. The crankshaft big end journals must be ground to suit the required size.
• Specialised Bearings: Requires special big end bearings (available separately in our shop).
• Piston Compatibility: These will not work with standard Volvo pistons due to differences in compression height and Gudgeon pin diameter.
