This mornings rolling road session saw a power run on a modified Peugeot 106 Rallye whilst this afternoon we had a setup on an MG TA with Triumph 1300 engine on twin SU carburettors.

Rover P6 2000 on the rollers
Martin Blum brought his beautifully presented P6 in for a tune today. The 2000cc engine has been fitted with the larger 2″ SU carburettors from the 2.2 and needed setting up. Re-profiling of the needles found an additional 15bhp at the wheels.
David Spellman’s Mk2 Cortina GT on the rollers
David Spellman brought his Mk2 Cortina GT in for tune up today. The car was struggling over 3500rpm which was due to a weak mixture. The 1600 engine has a fast road cam with the stock carburettor and after a session on the rollers produced a healthy power increase of 12% over standard.
Triumph GT6 on the rolling road
Racing Green Cars brought down a very nice GT6 for a rolling road today. Fitted with triple Webers this 6 cylinder classic is on it’s way to it’s new owner Phil Paterson in Australia.
