David Moran’s Mk1 Lotus Cortina has now been prepped for the HRDC Allstars race at Donington this weekend. Following a track day also at Donington we spotted the casing of the alternator was broken. We’ve replaced the alternator with a lightweight competition item. Almost all of the cars we are running now have this alternator fitted. We have found them to be very reliable and a vast improvement over standard items.
