Mike Haigh continues his success in 2017 with a win at Harewood Hillclimb. Following his podium at Goodwood Members Meeting in the Lenham Le Mans Mike took the top spot among the pre-1972 sports cars at Harewood with a time of 68.97.

Goodwood’s 75th Members Meeting marked a milestone in the Rainford household as this years Weslake Cup was the first race in which Shaun and his son Charles both competed. Yesterday we were at Brands hatch with Mike Haigh testing his Lenham Le Mans. The car has been prepped for the Weslake Cup at Goodwood’s 75th Members Meeting. The car is performing well with only a couple of jobs to do before Goodwood on the 18th of March.

The Marcos 1600 for Julian Balme is ready and getting loaded for the HSCC’s Historic Road Sports race at Silverstone this weekend. Julian will be writing a feature for Classic and Sports Car Magazine. Also in the Historic Road Sports race will be Ian Burford in his Lenham Le Mans.
