Ian Gordon brought his very tidy Triumph GT6 MkIII in for a tune up on Friday. Almost too clean to touch, Ian’s GT6 went on the rollers without trouble. We balanced the two Stromberg carburetors before taking it up through the gears and getting the fueling spot on.
Today has been a busy day on the rolling road. As well as tuning some of the Goodwood cars we had two customer cars to run. The first was a classic mini running a 1293cc Metro Turbo engine. This was running very lean so by the time we were finished a decent amount of power was found. Tim Butler brought his MG Midget racer down for a tune up also.
