The Austin-Healey 3000 has received a little attention this week. All of the running gear has been sand blasted and painted in 2k black. We have purchased new parts where necessary and have now begun the assembly. The front end has gone together beautifully. The car is fitted with adjustable camber shock mounts and has been built up using polyurethane bushes.
Prior to Goodwood’s 73rd Members Meeting Dave Griffith’s Triumph TR4 FIA race car is getting a fresh paint job. Sticking with the original black the car will receive a touch of red. This car will look stunning as it lines up on the grid this coming March.
This morning the Urpiala BMW Alpina finally received its stickers. You can’t deny that it looks fantastic. The artwork was all done in house from original photographs. The stickers were produced by Chameleon Design in Ringmer.
The BMW Alpina is on it’s wheels. This week we have been fitting the oil coolers and oil lines for the differential and gearbox. The stickers are on their way too so watch this space.
Dave’s Triumph TR4 FIA race car has been moved into the prep shop. There are a couple of body issues to sort before the car receives it’s new livery. Once in paint there will be a lot of new parts to go on followed by the renewal of the FIA HTP papers. Dave wants this to be the smartest TR4 on the grid.
