Seeing as we are all missing out on Goodwood Members Meeting right now, I thought I would post a gallery of photos from previous years. We are fortunate to have prepared and supported customers race cars and taken part at every meeting since its reintroduction. Looking forward to when we can all get back to racing. Stay Safe.
A Sanyo-TWR liveried Group 1 Rover SD1 has arrived for some race preparation and a few other jobs prior to the GRRC’s 74th Members Meeting. The car has a new fuel tank to fit and an airbox to be fabricated to help the carburetor breathe. The car is due to take part in a Goodwood test session prior to it’s second Gerry Marshall Trophy race at Goodwood’s Members Meeting.
Liz Powell is a local historic racing enthusiast who is also a keen photographer. She greatly underestimates her talent so judge for yourself.
Last weekend we took the Metropolitan down to Goodwood to stretch it’s legs before the 73rd Members Meeting and for a small feature on the GRRC website. You can read the feature here.
Our very own Nash Metropolitan has been invited to compete at the Goodwood Road Racing Clubs 73rd Members Meeting. After a challenging debut at Goodwood Revival in 2012 the little Metropolitan will be returning to the circuit with an all new, all steel 1860cc race engine. We’ve made further developments with suspension setup and will be out testing shortly. Shaun Rainford will be piloting the car and we are all looking forward to seeing what this car can do.
