We’ve had a busy start to the season this year. Since Goodwood’s 76th Members Meeting back in March we’ve been to Silverstone four times, Brands Hatch twice and to Donington, Snetterton and Oulton Park once each. We are back to Brands Hatch later this month and looking at a busy July with another race at Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Donington and Silverstone as well as the Goodwood Festival of Speed. No rest for the wicked.
The 2018 race season is already in full swing. The calendar is filling up fast with race entries up and down the country. Last week saw us at Snetterton with Ian Burford and his 1965 Ginetta G4 racing in the HSCC’s Historic Road Sports.
Last weekend was the HSCC’s Finals at Silverstone. We were there to look after the Tuckers in the Shelby GT350R and Ashley GT and Ian Burford in the Ginetta G4. A successful weekend all around. Larry and Ian had a huge battle for most of the race and Laurie really got the most out of the little Ashley GT getting quicker with every outing.
First weekend of August saw us at Silverstone for the Bentley Drivers Club meeting. Dave Griffiths competed in the Equipe GTS race in the Triumph TR4 finishing 4th in class and 18th overall in a grid of 39 cars.

We had a great weekend at Brands Hatch with a victory in the Equipe GTS group B race. Dave Griffiths qualified 8th in the Triumph TR4 on Saturday morning and made his way up to 4th in the first race Saturday afternoon. In race two on Sunday Dave started 4th and fought his way up to P1 after a long fight an MGB.
