Bodyshell blasting and zinc phosphate anti rust protection

If you are about to take on a classic car restoration and are considering the options available for stripping your shell and protecting it from rust we can now offer a viable solution. We are now able to offer a blasting service for large or small items followed by a highly durable and flexible zinc phosphate coating. For those of you who don’t want the expense of dipping and potential for trapped chemicals in the seams bleeding through the paint we have a cost effective alternative. Once you are back to bare metal we can spray a coating of zinc phosphate epoxy which is incredibly durable as well as flexible and will protect the metal from rust. Please call or email for more information or an estimate.

I have a set of 4 MGA wings which have been repaired but still have surface rust. Can you give an estimate please to have them blasted and zinc phosphated please? What sort of blasting do you do?

    Regards,

    Pete

This is very interesting. It is really very important that we protect or metals from having rust because this will break the integrity of the metal and thus destroying it. Having that coat is perfect. I just wonder how much it would cost. -http://www.permalac.com/
