Historic race car development. Vanguard and Volga.

Development is important as we always try to get the best out of our cars and drivers. The Vanguard is currently receiving some development work in the way of lower and stiffer suspension as well as a larger carburettors and an increase in bore. We are currently fabricating a rear anti-roll bar for the Gaz Volga. Most of the cars we deal with are not commonly modified let alone raced so making them go quicker involves a certain amount of creativity and imagination, but that is why it is so fun. If you think your racer is not quite right, if you feel it’s too soft in the corners or it understeers oversteers, if it’s  unreliable or you feel you’d like more power please give us a call for a consultation.

JUST IN! Volvo 122S for TC63

CCK have just brought in a Volvo 122S and will be building the car for the HRDC’s TC63 race series. This Volvo has a very tidy, virtually rust free shell with some competition experience in it’s past. Ian Goodwright will perform his magic and apply a fresh coat of paint before passing it over to Graham Smeeton to build up. The well known and reliable B18 1800cc 4 cylinder engine will provide the propulsion to make this a very competitive yet accessible racer. This car will be available for sale. If you have any interest in this project please contact Daniel via the form on the contact page.
