A second TVR Grantura has joined the CCK team although this one is a later BMC B-series variant rather than the early Climax engined version of Ian Burford. There is a bit of prep work needed to bring this one up to spec and we look forward to seeing it in action in 2018.

Workshop has been busy this week prepping the XK140 for the Masters Historic Festival at Brands Hatch and the Green Triumph TR4 for the CSCC meeting at Silverstone. Both cars required some work ahead of there races with new front shock absorbers going on both and some attention to the brakes.

We had a great weekend at Brands Hatch with a victory in the Equipe GTS group B race. Dave Griffiths qualified 8th in the Triumph TR4 on Saturday morning and made his way up to 4th in the first race Saturday afternoon. In race two on Sunday Dave started 4th and fought his way up

The Equipe GTS calendar got under way yesterday with their Goodwood track day. We were there with Dave Griffith’s and his black and red Triumph TR4. The car is going really well and it was great to see the car out on track prior to a busy 2017 season.

Friday the 24th we were testing at Brands Hatch with Larry Tucker’s recently completed Shelby Mustang GT350R. Larry Tucker’s Shelby GT350R is nearing completion. One of the last jobs was to apply the period livery based on the Mark Donahue car from 1965. Roundels were painted in white with the Shelby side stripe stickers applied along the bottom of the doors. There are just a few small jobs left before the car
