MGA restoration progress

The MGA restoration is pressing on. The right hand side of the car has been re-metaled now. It has had new sills, door posts and front and rear wings. The door frames were in excellent condition so new aluminum skins have been fitted. Currently working on the left hand side before repairs are made to the front shroud.

MGA restoration continues

The MGA is pretty well stripped now. The body is looking very good in general although it will need new ‘F’ sections. We will complete the necessary welding and repair work to the body before we take it off of the frame. Then the body and the frame can go to get blasted.

1956 MGA restoration underway

Last week we began to strip down a customers 1956 MGA. The car is originally a left hand drive US export spending most of its life in dry states has meant that much of the chassis and bodywork is in very good condition and relatively rust free. Once the car is stripped we will send the chassis to be media blasted.
