’69 Mustang setup on the rolling road

Tim Finch brought his recently purchased 1969 Ford Mustang 390 in for a health check and rolling road tuning. The car has not been on the road long since it’s restoration. It has a brand new Holley carburetor and Tim wanted to make sure everything was running as it should.

Lotus Elan 2+2 rolling road tune

Matt Willmott brought his stunning Lotus Elan 2+2 in because it was fouling plugs. On the rollers it went to find out it was running massively rich. The carbs will require re-jetting to get this twin cam running sweet. This is one of the nicest Elan’s we’ve had in. Immaculate.

Rover P6 2000 on the rollers

Martin Blum brought his beautifully presented P6 in for a tune today. The 2000cc engine has been fitted with the larger 2″ SU carburettors from the 2.2 and needed setting up. Re-profiling of the needles found an additional 15bhp at the wheels.

1938 MG TA rolling road tuned

Today we setup a stunning 1938 MG TA. The engine hadn’t been setup since it was rebuilt so onto the rollers it went for a thorough going over. The owner Mr W.A. Gerdes has owned the car since 1965 and enjoys nothing more than driving the car hundreds of miles across Europe every year! He is preparing the car for a drive to Sweden in the coming weeks.
