We are very pleased to receive an invitation to this years Chateau Impney Hill Climb event for John Rhodes Mini Cooper S. A superb event with an MSA sanctioned competitive hill climb on the grounds of the stunning 19th century house. In the drivers seat will, once again, be Charles Rainford, following from his aggressive attack of the Goodwood Festival of Speed course in 2018. The event is being held on July 13th and 14th 2019. We have just taken delivery of a well campaigned FIA Mini Cooper S race car from Sweden. We have taken delivery on behalf of the new owner and will be giving the car a thorough inspection, spanner check, rolling road and fitting a new race seat.
Peter Eberhards Mk1 Mini Cooper S body shell has received it’s final coat of Island Blue paint. It has been flat and polished and once the doors are painted will be ready to collect.
Ian Goodwright is in the process of painting the Mini Cooper S body shell. The shell was first coated in zinc phosphate epoxy for long term rust protection. Then the shell could be filled, shaped, primed and prepped for the Island Blue top coat.
