This mornings rolling road session saw a power run on a modified Peugeot 106 Rallye whilst this afternoon we had a setup on an MG TA with Triumph 1300 engine on twin SU carburettors.

Porsche 911 carburettor repair and rolling road tune
Another lovely example sent our way by Paragon Porsche. This 2.4 litre 911 had a crack in on of the carburettor bodies around a mixture screw. We machined a sleeve to fit around it and pressed it over ensure the crack does not getting any worse. The carburettors were then balanced and setup on the rolling road.
Rolling road tuning of Aston Martin V8
This morning saw the rolling road tuning of another Aston Martin V8. First of all we replaced the spark plugs. One carburettor was running fast so all four were balanced. We setup up the idle mixture and idle speed. We then disconnected the kick down cable and gave it a power run to check the fueling across the rev range.

You can’t help but love a straight six. This MGC belongs to a local enthusiast who wanted to get the best from it.
Rolling road tuning a very clean Triumph GT6
Ian Gordon brought his very tidy Triumph GT6 MkIII in for a tune up on Friday. Almost too clean to touch, Ian’s GT6 went on the rollers without trouble. We balanced the two Stromberg carburetors before taking it up through the gears and getting the fueling spot on.
