1938 MG TA rolling road tuned

Today we setup a stunning 1938 MG TA. The engine hadn’t been setup since it was rebuilt so onto the rollers it went for a thorough going over. The owner Mr W.A. Gerdes has owned the car since 1965 and enjoys nothing more than driving the car hundreds of miles across Europe every year! He is preparing the car for a drive to Sweden in the coming weeks.

David Spellman’s Mk2 Cortina GT on the rollers

David Spellman brought his Mk2 Cortina GT in for tune up today. The car was struggling over 3500rpm which was due to a weak mixture. The 1600 engine has a fast road cam with the stock carburettor and after a session on the rollers produced a healthy power increase of 12% over standard.
