Today we had the Group 1 Rover SD1 on the rolling road ahead of the Gerry Marshall Trophy at Goodwood’s 74th Members Meeting. We tested it with and without silencers. Without silencers the car is making an extra 5bhp and a lot more noise.
Sumpter puts CCK tuned 911 on the front row at 73rd Members Meeting
Mark Sumpter put in a top quality drive in the Baylis & Harding Porsche 911 to qualify 2nd behind BTCC champion Andrew Jordan at Goodwood’s 73rd Members Meeting. Paragon Porsche brought the car to us before the event to fine tune on the rolling road. We found the car to be running lean so adjusted according. We also had to compensate for running un-silenced which leaned it out even further. We successfully managed to release some further horse power to help give an advantage over the rest of the field.

Gerry Marshall Triumph Dolomite Sprint
John and Alun Edwards brought their ex-Gerry Marshall Triumph Dolomite Sprint to us before Christmas for a few small jobs. The carburettor spindles were very badly worn and no longer available so a new set of Webers were duly fitted. There was a serious oil leak from the cam cover were an oil fed a spray bar over the rocker gear. We re-engineered the spray bar and did away with the oil leak before running it up on the rolling road.
