Classic car restoration comes large and small packages. This little A35 is in for wing repairs. The only repair sections available are for the lower rear behind the wheel. The areas around the headlight and where the wing meets the scuttle have been hand fabricated and welded in. Almost looks like new.

All done. The E-type has been finished and looks stunning. We’ve gone the extra mile with this one with two coats of primer wet flatted before the base coat and clear. The restoration of the shell was so good we had to have a paint job to match the quality. Can’t wait to see this

A varied range of tasks in the workshop this week. The E-type is coming along beautifully and now has paint underneath, the top will be painted over the course of the week. Dave Griffith’s Vanguard is getting repaired after an off at Mallory Park, but is also getting a new engine, larger and more powerful
We recently received this beautifully restored Jaguar E-type roadster shell for painting. The metal work is superb with lovely door gaps and lead loading. Only the best paint job will do for such a nice shell. Watch this space for updates.
